Below is a copy of a post made by one of our young alumni coaches-Brandon Morton-who, along with our other alumni coaches and friends, wanted to bring back the alumni involvement in our baseball program. They are starting with bringing back the alumni game vs the varsity and are going to use this as a fund raiser to help our program.
This is something the baseball alumni have been working on solely on their own. They will need our support to continue to make this a success. They asked me to send information regarding this so all of you are aware. They have worked hard to get alumni involved and support from families and friends.
We are excited to have a great group of baseball alumni so passionate about baseball, our kids and helping our program to continue to grow.
We hope this is just the beginning of more good things to come……..

(Attention Firestone Baseball Alumni)
This year we will be bringing back to alumni baseball game vs the varsity team. This was something that used to be a huge part to the program and with the new coaching staff now (all FHS alumni) we wanted to bring back this event to show these kids that we all care for the program as much as we did when we were a part of it.
A new format : Starting this year, and for years to come, we will be making this a fundraiser event in hopes of being able to do more field maintenance. Players of the past have either loved or hated the field but we are hoping to make it a palace (eventually) but we must start somewhere! To play in the game, the cost for alumni will be $30. This will include an alumni shirt and all proceeds will go directly to Firestone Baseball. I am hoping to get at least 15 guys, as we will all get in the game (and hopefully show these young men we’ve still got it)
Location : Dave Marshall Field (Firestone home field)
Date & Time : August 11th at 5ish
I’m hoping to get a lot of support from former guys and families. Its important for us as coaches to show these kids that we support them 100% and want to continue to help this program to grow.
